I am Maria, the artist behind Valorah Studio.

I started painting when I was six and never really stopped. My work is inspired by the things I love most – animals, fairies, enchanted nature and bright bold colors.

When I was little, my favourite memories were my mum reading me her old children’s books before going to bed. I would spend ages just looking at the illustrations, all the tiny details and the scenery.
That same cosy, storybook feeling is what I try to bring in my own work. I want people to smile, remember their childhood, and feel a little bit of magic in their everyday life again.
